MISSION: To provide a coordinated community response to child abuse victims and their Caregivers.
GOAL: The center goal is to increase the percentage of victims to whom we provide services in a child-friendly environment, using a multidisciplinary team approach to interview, investigate, and provide services for child victims of abuse and non-offending family members.
Muskogee County Child Advocacy Center (MCCAC) is a non-profit organization whose funding is met by grants, foundations, private donations, and fundraisers. MCCCAC provides a child friendly environment for interviewing and providing services for child victims of abuse. This house provides a child friendly environment for interviewing and providing services for child victims of abuse. The center is used 24 hours a day and utilizes a multidisciplinary team of child protective workers, law enforcement officers, medical and mental health professionals, district attorney, and volunteers who work together to respond to the immediate emotional and physical needs of victims. They strive to prevent re-victimization, and provide appropriate intervention as needed. It is a safe home where the non-offending parent and children can receive all the family services appropriate for their individual needs.
